Booking & Timing
How do I get a moving quote without an in-home estimate?
Short answer
You don't need an in-home estimate for a local move. Send photos or a short video of each room, the entryway, and any stairs or elevator, plus both addresses and your target date. Lift & Chill prices from what we see and sends back a written flat rate — usually in about 15 minutes — with no walkthrough and no sales visit.
- Photos of every room, closet, and the entry path
- Both addresses, floor numbers, and elevator status
- Your date and preferred time window
- Written flat rate back in about 15 minutes
- One flat price
- Reply in 15 min

What to photograph
The best quotes come from boring photos: wide shots of each room from the doorway, an open closet or two, the garage or storage unit, and the walk from your door to where a truck can legally park. Access is what surprises movers, so show it.
- Every room from the doorway, plus closets
- Large or awkward items — sectional, treadmill, safe, piano
- The building entrance, hallway, and elevator or stairwell
- Where a 20-foot truck can park at both ends
Why we price this way
An in-home estimate costs you an hour and a sales pitch. Photos give us the same information in five minutes, which is how we turn quotes around the same morning you ask.

Is the photo quote binding?
It's a flat rate we honor as long as the job matches the photos. Big additions get re-quoted before the crew starts, never after the truck is loaded.
What if I can't take photos?
Describe it — room count, floor, elevator, and the three biggest items. We'll quote a range and confirm the flat rate before you're charged anything.
