Do I need a parking permit to move in Washington DC?

What will movers not move?
Movers won't transport hazardous or flammable materials, including propane tanks, gasoline, paint, aerosols, fireworks, and ammunition, plus perishable food and live plants on longer runs. You should personally carry irreplaceables: passports, cash, jewelry, medication, hard drives, and important documents. Everything else in a normal DMV household is fair game for Lift & Chill.
