Senior Moving & Downsizing
A move later in life is rarely just a move — it's sorting decades of belongings, deciding what fits the next home, and keeping treasured things safe. We plan senior moves at a calmer pace: a written flat rate before move day, a crew that labels and pads everything, and coordination with family members and senior-community move-in rules so the day stays organized.

What it costs.

Our promise
Four promises we put money behind.
These are the things we owe you on every job, and what happens if we miss.
The price you approve is the price you pay
Your flat quote is written down before we lift a box. If we misjudge the job, we eat the difference instead of renegotiating with you in a hallway.
On time, or $50 comes off your bill
We arrive inside your window ready to work. If we're more than 30 minutes late and haven't called you first, $50 comes off the total. You don't have to ask.
Insured and building-ready
Our crews are fully insured and we issue your building's certificate of insurance the same day, free, so paperwork never pushes your date.
If something breaks, we sort it out in writing
Everything gets padded and wrapped. If something gets damaged, file a claim in your portal with photos and we'll resolve it with you in writing.

FAQ
Senior Moving & Downsizing questions, answered
Do you work with senior living communities?
Yes. Most senior communities and 55+ buildings have move-in requirements — reserved elevator windows, certificates of insurance, specific move hours. Get those rules in writing early and send them to us; we'll plan the crew, COI, and timing around them.
Can family members coordinate the move from out of town?
Yes, and it's common. We can handle the walkthrough, quote, and move-day updates with a son, daughter, or caregiver by phone and email, and keep everyone copied on the plan.
How do you handle downsizing and sorting?
In stages. We recommend sorting before move day — what fits the new space, what goes to family, what goes to storage or donation. On move day we label and load by room so unpacking at the new home is straightforward. If part of the load goes to a storage unit or a family member's home, we plan it as one multi-stop move.
How much does a senior move cost?
Most senior moves are quoted as a written flat rate based on the home size, distance, stairs or elevators, and any extra stops like a storage unit. You see the full price in writing before you book — no hourly meter running while decisions are being made.
Can you set up furniture at the new home?
Yes. We place furniture where you want it, reassemble beds and basic furniture, and can prioritize setting up the bedroom and essentials first so the first night is comfortable.
What if the move needs to happen in stages?
That works. Some families move essentials first and the rest after the home sells or the community room is ready. Tell us the timeline and we'll quote each stage clearly.
